My passion for public relations began when I helped launch my aunt’s boutique on Instagram and TikTok, growing her TikTok following to 30,000 by my senior year. This sparked my interest in digital marketing and led me to pursue a communications degree at Texas Tech. As PR Officer for my sorority, I organized and publicized major events like Delta After Dark, a concert that raised $10,000 in one night.
Transferring to UT Austin’s Stan Richards School, I became a marketing assistant at Rambler, a new student living complex. Despite the building not yet existing, we fully leased it for the first term through strategic content creation, influencer partnerships, and student engagement. I led the ambassador program, collaborating with UT athletes and campus influencers to enhance visibility. My blog posts went beyond marketing, offering insights on college living, study spots, and Austin activities.
In 2024, I expanded into corporate communications at USI Insurance, where I developed client materials, facilitated networking events, and created fitness app guides to help employees maximize their benefits. I also joined Hook’d Magazine, producing content on major Austin events like the F1 race and ACL Festival, strengthening the magazine’s entertainment presence.
